Jua kila linalowezekana kuhusu vipengele, vikwazo. Maarifa ni nguvu.
Jizungushe na watu mahiri na wenye heshima.
Imani isiyotikisika. Nenda hata ncha ya kuasi. Kataa kukubali mapungufu na hali ya wastani. Sitamruhusu mtu yeyote aniambie siwezi kugusa nyota, kwa sababu inawezakana nitafika huko. Na hakika, sitafika huko ikiwa sitaendelea kujaribu."
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
“It seems to me it’s not genetic gifts for tolerating stress or resisting pain that takes individuals through extraordinary feats of endurance. When it comes to the most daring of Earth’s expeditions, success always seems to come down to four factors:
Physical preparation. Training. You are truly the only thing you have complete control over. No stone unturned.
Know everything possible about the elements, the obstacles. Knowledge is power.
Surround yourself with brilliant and honorable people.
Unshakable faith. Go so far as defiance. Refuse to accept limitations and mediocrity. I won’t let anybody tell me I can’t touch the stars, because I just might get there. And I will surely never get there if I don’t keep trying.”
