Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919) was the 26th president of the United States from 1901 to 1909. He was also known for his “Square Deal” domestic policies, and for later having led the most successful third-party run for U.S. president under the “Bull Moose Party” which, ultimately, garnered 25% of the popular vote in 1912.
