(1) we in the West are NOT at our pinnacle of greatness (which means, we have room to grow, if we so choose that path);
(2) there IS a better way--this path is not inevitable; and
(3) haven't the First Nations already figured some of this stuff out? If humans have done this before, we can do it again. Maybe we need to listen some more to our elders....
This thing called the West is not so big that we can't turn it around, I have to believe. :)
I came to Munger through Warren Buffet who is equally a wise and often humorous teacher. I only purchased some Berkshire Hathaway stock a long time ago for the sole reason that I liked Warren Buffet as a person. Suggest you check out both fellows!
Yes, absolutely! And on the world stage right now, at least here in the west, there are very few that I trust.
Me too Diana! We reward the wrong incentives.
This quote from Munger gives me hope in that:

Thanks for those wonderful thoughts.
George Galloway was elected in the UK, and that points in a better direction, imo. I hope we elect more like him around the world.
This is really good! So sensible, and true. I am only just learning about Charlie Munger. Thank you for this.

Yes, Mr. Buffet has always seemed a rather more "human" billionaire. I didn't know Munger before... Thank you, I will surely look into them further!
