Habari gani Wasomaji!
Mapumziko fupi ya Substack yalilazimishwa juu yangu kwani kompyuta yangu ndogo ilififia dunia hivi majuzi. Ilinipa miaka 8, kwa hivyo, siwezi kulalamika. Kompyuta mpya imeratibiwa kuwasili hivi karibuni.
Kaa salama, kaa mnyenyekevu, na tutaonana tena hivi karibuni!
Mmerikani
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Hello Readers!
A brief Substack hiatus was forced upon me when my laptop recently died. She gave me 8 years, so, I cannot complain. The next one is scheduled to arrive soon.
Stay safe, stay humble, and see you again soon!
Mmerikani
KISWAHILI: Asante na tutaonana tena,
Mmerikani
ENGLISH TRANSLATION: Thank you and may we see each other again,

You know, reading the Swahili in these simple sentences really makes me wish I could study the language seriously. It sounds beautiful when I watch lessons on YouTube. Over the holidays, I did look through the pdf that I have. I learned cow (ng'ombe), chicken (kuku), and then life got in the way... Baby steps.
Mmerikani, how is your kompyuta? (In Japanese, it's "konpyu-ta-", but people usually say "pasokon" [personal computer]).
Kwaheri.👋🏽
